About Me
Who is Scarlet Designs?Well I am a photographer and artist, working and living in the Surrey area.
I have always had a passion for photography and was given my first Kodak camera at the age of eight and have been snapping away on various camera’s ever since! I moved onto digital photography a few years ago and I love the images it allows you to produce.
I love taking photographs of flowers using a macro lens and I am always looking for new images to take.
I also enjoy capturing the world around me in paintings (watercolours, oils and acrylics) and this goes hand in hand with taking pictures.
I have been painting for as long as I can remember and although mainly a self-taught artist I have taken various college courses over the years to improve my skills. My inspiration comes from all around me, such as the wonderful places I have visited, coastal scenes and of course nature.
